Black Mourning

Black Mourning
Bats with beady eyes awake with the coming darkness
Light scares them; makes them flee and hide.
A group of people is dressed in this
Color of Death. Shall we call upon a
Knight to foil their sinister plans?
           No. They're just in a really bad mood
           while waiting for the banshee
           to leave their door.

Personal note: Halloween is one of my favorite holidays next to Christmas and I happen to come from an Irish family background that I am proud of. -Heather Wall
