Just Because

Because I know there are wars,
             I must express myself.
Because I cannot guarantee world peace,
             I must express myself.
Because others know I rather talk out of a fight,
             I must express myself.
Because I am scared to think
             about the future,
             about the present
             I cannot express myself.
Because I need to be heard
             to HAVE a voice,
             to express,
             to do what is right,
                     I have expressed myself.
